This Act is to provide for the establishment of the State of Arunachal Pradesh and for matters connected there with. The Act describes all the procedures for establishment of a State, representation in the State Legislature, formation of High Court, authorization of expenditure and distribution of revenue, shifting of assets and liabilities from the Union Territory to the State of Arunachal Pradesh, provisions related to All India Services like IAS and IPS, and other legal provisions. Amendment has also been made in certain sections of the aforesaid subject matters, and some schedules of constitutional order in respect of Schedule Castes and Schedule Tribes. |
