This Act is about to provide for regulation, establishment, working of Institutions and constitution of State Council for Technical Education in the State of Arunachal Pradesh. This is applicable to all the colleges and the institutions of Technical Education be it Government, Non-Government Institution situated within the territorial jurisdiction of the State of Arunachal Pradesh, imparting technical/professional education within the concept of University Grants Commission or All India Council of Technical Education or within the concept of any Council created by Government of India. This council aims at regulating a particular technical education recognized by the Department of Higher and Technical Education of the State. Here Technical Education refers to special branch of education, training and research in the field of engineering /technology/ professional education imparted by various institutions, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Electronic, Telecommunication etc. and other diversified related professional/technical courses approved by the AICTE and recognized by a university/deemed university or an institute duly established by law and approved by the Arunachal Pradesh State Council for Technical Education. |
